KOJOE's a certified legend. Born in Niigata, raised in the grimy streets of Queens, this dude got signed by indie powerhouse RAWKUS back in '07 (remember those mixtapes?). When RAWKUS dipped, KOJOE carved his own path, spitting fire in both English and Japanese like a samurai with two mics.

He's been grinding ever since, staying true to his indie roots and becoming a one-man wrecking crew in Japanese rap. Dude's got major respect from everyone, dropping heat under different names on various labels. Lately, he's been collab-ing with OLIVE OIL and 5lack, bringing a whole new wave of fans to his world.

Now, KOJOE's rollin' with J.Studio 098, and they're about to drop a fire comp called 'NICETY.'

J.Studio's a heavyweight hub, with their Tokyo branch backing MONJU and the Osaka crew Tha Jointz killin' it. They've also been pushing out dope tracks from Yamaguchi's BUPPON and Fukui's beatmaker BLOOKY JEEKY. This time, they're bringing the heat straight outta Okinawa with the new J.Studio 098 joint.

This project's a collab between KOJOE, his OG partner MuKuRo, and LazyWii, who's been blowin' up with his bilingual bars reppin' the Make Sum crew from Chatan, Okinawa. They got features from JASS (Tha Jointz) outta Osaka and BUPPON repping Yamaguchi. On the production side, you've got heavy hitters like BudaMunk, NARISK, Chouji, FReECOol, 1Co.INR, and BLOOKY JEEKY dropping fire beats.

This eight-track album is straight fire. We got the BudaMunk-produced lead single "Nicety" that dropped in December '23, the vibey "H.B.Y.S" that hits like a tropical bomb, the synth-bass banger "Koo Nel Yal Suu," the track "DON'T YOU KNOW" featuring JASS from Tha Jointz, and the emotional "HOME" with BUPPON, dedicated to their hometowns and families. This Okinawan-infused heat is ready to take the scene by storm.
